Our
family came to Idaho in 1969 for a visit. In 1976 we moved
to Idaho to stay, raise our family, and build our future.
Idaho had everything we wanted for our family standards.
Lots of nature, time to enjoy it, good people, places to
enjoy without lots of money. We value our family. We now
have two successful businesses, with time to do what we want
with our family, church, and friends in a much slower
relaxed atmosphere.
The friendships were built on trust, good advice and a
helping hand. While many things have changed over the years,
we know the basic principals of integrity and hard work
still count. From our early years in the Real Estate
Appraisal business, and working with the banking industry,
we also know the many long-standing relationships we value
and continue to build are based on the simple principles of
honesty, respect and fairness. Since this time we have
expanded into the Real Estate Brokerage Industry and now own
the oldest Real Estate Company in the Lost River Valley. We
owe our success to our clients, new friends and now
neighbors. We take pride in assisting our buyers in their
financing needs.
Lost River Realty is now in our 25th year of operation in
the valley. We are now working toward beginning our second
generation of operation with our son, and daughter. We look
forward to them being active in the management of the
company. Lost River Realty is a broad based ownership
structure set by both Don and Carolyn Cain, and will
continues to embrace the original principles we have
established over the prior 20 years. Our team takes pride in
the services which we strive to put us in the forefront of
our industry. We serve a wide range client base with a
number one goal of commitment to excellence and diversified
services including real estate marketing, resource
management, loan underwriting and real estate appraisals.
Both Don and Carolyn have 25 years of experience in the
appraisal field in the State of Idaho. Don is a State
Certified Residential Appraiser, and Carolyn is a State
Licensed Residential Appraiser. We take pride in our
assistance in finding our clients an honest, well priced
investment. While we have grown, our goals today echo the
needs of our clients in providing the best possible services
available. In order to make the purchasing, selling,
management and ownership of any Real Estate purchase a
positive and rewarding experience. We share a responsibility
to our clients and provide the best stewardship, and most of
all we put our clients first.
